The ALRP Legal Eagles AIDS Walk team set new team and fundraising records this year with 30 team members and $12,240 raised to support ALRP's free legal services for people living with HIV/AIDS!

This is simply amazing - we DOUBLED last year's effort, all in an economy that is tougher than ever.  THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH...

Our ALRP Legal Eagles met in Golden Gate Park on Sunday, July 18th for a wonderful outing of fun, spirit and enthusiasm. Our team met at 10:30am in Sharon Meadow for the 2.5 hour stroll (well, actually it was a 10k, 6.2 mile trek) to the ocean and back. We joined thousands of fellow community members at this fun, and often poignant, event.

Special thanks go to our StarWalkers: Ted Garey, Diana Hughes, Ayako Miyashita, Vince Novak, Jaime Rush and Marti Simon, who each raised more than $1,000. Surpassing our $10,000 was exciting, and reaching the $12,000 milestone was simply awesome...made possible by the tremenous effort of all 30 team members (and a spectacular last minute push by Vince Novak, who raised over $1,000 in the 36 hours leading up to the walk!). It was a classic case of a Team Effort.

These funds will make a huge difference for many of our clients this year.
